Any valved exhaust options for the 1500 5.7 Hemi?

So I've got a 2022 1500 coming in a few months here in Australia.. So of course I'm starting my research path for a bunch of mods.

A bit of a nice note on a v8 is always welcome but from a lot of vids on Youtube I'm guessing that most people who fit exhausts aren't tradies/actually use their truck for work because if I was firing up my truck at 5/530am every morning making a racket my wife would crack the ***** big time.

So I guess I'll ask my fellow tradies/early risers, are there any valved exhausts out there so I can run it in quieter mode in the morning and then once out on the road/feel like some audio bliss I can open up the valves and enjoy the sound?

Assuming yours is new body style 2022 since you posted in 5th gen. Electric cutout to a second muffler may be a good choice. Switch it when you want it louder. I swapped from a carven on my 2017 to a borla s type. The borla is great. It’s a bit loud. The touring should be a bit quieter if they make one for 5th gens. Or you’ll have to do a custom muffler swap to a valved muffler if that’s what you want. My truck

Yep it'll be a 2022 (4th April Build scheduled with early May delivery here in Aus).

DT I believe as the DS is the older model still sold here in the Express/Warlock specs while the Laramie (my spec) and Limited come in DT).

Will continue look into options and perhaps this electric cutout you mentioned. Appreciate the suggestion

Electric cutout is the way to go, I'd love to have one on my truck if our winters weren't so brutal. I have one on a summer car though and have enjoyed them on that.

Look into Valvetronic or Valvetronix mufflers, there are a couple local shops where I live that have installed these on the Ram trucks with success. Google/search ‘Hot Rod Scott’s’ or find them on Instagram and see their posts on Ram trucks with their ‘sleeper mode’ mufflers (valved mufflers) and you can hear the difference between open and closed valves (straight pipe mode and muffler mode). I am hoping to get one of these installed on my 4th Gen truck sometime soon. I’ll post pics/videos if I do.

I have the Borla S Type on my '20 and love it. Almost went for the ATAK but probably good that I didn't. Cold start on the S Type inside the garage is brutal...
