Nicely done and clean. :waytogo:

I‘d like to hear more about how you did it, and what was involved.
I had the basic RES radio with satellite. Screen burned out/dark on the left side.

Did some checking on a lot of forums about what factory radio would work. Found I could easily upgrade as long as I found a high speed bus Radio. RER, RHB, RHR RBZ. Etc come in both high speed and low speed CAN bus versions. Some like the RHR or RHB had more function and less to install than others. Like a GPS antenna needed for RER.

Picked an RHR from ebay out of a '12 T&C mopar #P05091209AD there are diff part no for each make. Picked up a mygig Mic kit mopar #82211743AB. And ordered a dual sat antenna for sat radio and GPS mopar #68276410AB. My 2010 sat antenna only had single.

Carefully removed apillar trim, didn't touch airbag. Removed driver lower dash trim and center trim around the radio.

Disconnected battery, removed the old radio, then threaded the mic from apillar down thru the dash to the radio hole attached jumper, and zip tied it in a few spots to keep it in place.

Plugged the radio back in, put battery neg back on. Chrysler screen displayed when I turned on the key. I entered the security code. (Was given toe by seller so I didn't have to contact dealer with donor vin.)

Turned off key and turned it back on and dodge splash screen showed.

Paired my phone, tried a call, streamed from youtube music, and made sure voice commands worked.

Re assembled dash to be done with the radio part of the install.

Next step is to take apart interior on back corner of truck and install the new sat antenna so satellite radio and nav will work. The antenna should be here Monday.

Thanks for the write-up.

As you can see, I’ve got a 2011 and wouldn’t mind swapping over if it’s pretty much plug and play. Meets all my needs as is, but if I gained some functions I’d be up for that too.

RHR and RHB do streaming from phone as well as calls. Support for backup camera is also in mygig, but not certain whichodels, RHR for sure, will be adding mopar backup camera at some point as well.

If you have u conmect already, rhr also requires a conversion harness and unconnected module removed

Bylaws are so much fun ! This is why my Detached Garage is so small and the reason for the orientation.

I already have a single attached to the house.

So you can't have the garage door exit into the alley in your area due to bylaws? That is strange and I am glad my area is not like that. My garage door faces the alley.

The garage is a good size still even working within the bylaws.

UPS came !!! and the Powdercoat shop called !!!

Front shocks and coils springs arrived, now all ready for the install.

Rigid hardware will match the light housings. I want the chrome to accent and compliment the black, not to distract or overwhelm. That’s the impression I got on initial install.

Feel now they will blend in without standing out now. :waytogo::waytogo:

Did an oil change and tire rotation on the "Rampage". Out/off went Motorcraft 5W-20 Syn Blend oil and MC filter. In/on went Valvoline 5W-20 Syn Blend oil and NAPA filter.

Just picked up the Ram.

Ended up not only installing Fox shocks all the way around, Maxtrac front springs (completing the 7” lift), and oil change, but also upgrading all 4 brakes (Rotors and pads).

Now…. Top Romen for a while :Big Laugh:

Next up on the wish list…….

1, Air lift for rear when towing

2. Onboard air for above,

3. I’m thinking Red Core 4x4 arms.

Only drove home about 2 miles, so can’t give an honest evaluation.

I do like the stance with the extra few inches made.

I had no complaints with the others (KYB) front, Max Trac standards for rears, but seeing as how I had to change out the front shocks due to the taller springs….. I decided to just do all 4 together.

I’ll be hitting more of my normal stops this weekend and see if I can make a call either way. Of course I’ll want them to be amazing……. So we’ll see.

Should be good for another 7-8 HP
