This is just my opinion. Being in alberta as well strongly recommend staying away from air bags. They don't really hold up to our winters. Thuren and Carli are highly recommended... but you will lose cargo capacity. On my personal I went with bds 3 inch kit. Got it for about 2300 Canadian. Coils in the front spacer in the back. Nx2 shocks which was a drastic improvement for me over stock. Gets you a bit higher and saves some room for tires and a winch
Thanks for the input on airbags, was a little on the fence. Was that 3" lift front and back or is it different front/back so the truck is level after?

3 in the front 1.5 in the back. Gave it a level look. Coils in the front spacer in the back. I went with the bds kit because from what I have read over 3 inches you get into more modifications.

I'm Also from Alberta And also just purchased a brand new ram 2500 power wagon, Less than 2 months ago.
I'm in a very similar situation to you of what you'd like to use it for.
I'm starting with tires and lights.
The new shoes go on this week 37" BFG KM3. Then The S Pod Bantam Bantam HD.
Then lights, Just as a start, At 4 Wheel Parts Hear in Edmonton.
I've been overlanding jeeps for the last 20 years All over the rockies in Alberta and BC.
I've only taken one road trip in the PW so far 8 hours each way. The wife love driving it.
So we will see what this much bigger platform Is like off road Compared to any of my jeeps including, my J10 Honcho.
Then next week we are heading to the East Kootenays in BC. For a Week With a friend's off road teardrop is drop trailer.
I think I read you're in Cochran, I'm in Edmonton. Be interested in following your build or answering any questions you might have.
