Just got back from the first trip of the year, trying to get another in shortly before the top half of the state is on fire.

I installed the repeater. I mounted it on the inside of my trailer frame near the front. You'll see in the pic the red terminal. That's where I picked up the 12v hot. For the black wire, I drilled and tapped a 10-32 hole and used a ground screw. I tie wrapped the repeater to a wire because the instructions say to keep the antenna off and away from metal because of interference. It's a sealed unit and completely water proof.

We'll see how well it works next week and I'll post an update.

That’s your TPMS booster for the RV? I’ve made just a 140 mile trip since I put mine on and it’s great to have for peace of mind.

Same campground. Different scenery. Right on the hiking trails. Not another camper in the lower loop. I LOVE THE RAIN.

So glad many campers are fair weather campers. (To include the people who reserved our favorite site. GRR).

I put on the rain gear, hooked up in the rain, set up in the rain and then hiked in the rain.

God is a beautiful artist. THIS is the America I love.

more pics to come...not much service here.

Looks nice. In 2 weeks we take our first trip. I hope our camper will finally be repaired but not counting on it. Might be a tent trip. At least it will be ready for Missouri in June.

Saw this at Walmart today. I wonder if he's parked until he can get the trailer fixed or just a quick stop and a death wish?

What you're looking at is the side of the parking lot. Out the front entrance is a main road with a trailer place that sells mainly utility trailers about a 1/4 mile up the road. He may be parked there waiting for a new axle to come in.

It's really nose high. Much higher than it looks in the pic. If he was towing it that way that could explain why the rear axle broke. Most of the weight was on it alone. 20220510_104952.jpg

Well, it doesn't even wait till we're out of our yard and we're at the campsite to start raining. LOL, It's all good though. Just about up all packed ready for our trip to Chincoteague so my wife can see the horses. Unfortunately, the next rocket launch isn't until June, so I'm out of luck on that front. Looking forward to a week of doing as little as possible.

It rained off and on to the way to the campground and it rained a little when I was setting up but we're camping. Trying a new campground this time. It's not bad so far. Sites are deep but I wish there was a few more trees behind us but it's no big deal.

So, it's raining pretty steady and I'm sitting outside trying to enjoy it and the guy behind me is power washing his trailer with a gas power washer. That's the down side of campgrounds. When did I become such a grumpy old man?

I will be heading out next weekend for our first trip. Praying my trailer is fixed... they say it should be ready Wed but so far they have not made most of their dates. If not ready we will use our old tent... I need to get out!

Nothing like camping to refresh the sole. We've camped for years......we now pull a 17ft Casita....just me...the wife and our dog.....best rrailer I've ever owned. Small but it has everything.....we love it. The Ram doesn't even it know it's back there. Lots of great camping in the PNW......will be heading out soon as well.......can't wait.

We left Florida yesterday for a lengthy trip. Had some Goodyear Endurance tires
put on the 5W first, huge difference between those and the stock Chinese tires. Have to give Tire Discounters a big endorsement, immaculate place with friendly workers in uniforms. They put a team on it and had me out the door in 35 mins and $695 total. Nice experience at a tire store for a change!

Got back yesterday. Trailer was fixed and works great. Front is brand new. Too bad the sides still look older but the shop did their best to hide the fiberglass splice point. That little dent cost more than i paid for the trailer in 2019 to fix.
Before and after....
