I'm making my 2014 RAM 1500 think it has a manual trans as I have a stand alone controller for the 8 speed auto. I need to replace the RF Hub for one that has the pin for the clutch input. My truck has the passive entry and remote start so I need a hub that has all three connectors. I did some research online and ordered 68245479AE but it does not have the passive enty or remote antenna connector. I think I'm looking for one from a 2500 with manual trans and passive entry. Anyone got a part # ? PLEASE :)
Try 68234885AB, it’s for 2015 2500-5500’s with manual trans and passive entry/push start. Should also work for your 2014.

@Evguy1 - I used 68245481AD in my 2016 Manual. I've installed the new door handles and all.

Not sure if you can find one that has both Manual and remote start. As they dont put those two together since someone can leave it in gear. Perhaps you can enable it using alfaobd, but I'm not sure if thats possible..

Yeah I should have mentioned, I don’t believe you can have remote start with the manual hubs.

Can you list what settings you updated in the BCM?
The folks over at Auto Tech Electronics are very helpful. I found that the passenger side handle was flagging a fault intermittently. Auto Tech sent out a new hub and set of key fobs along with another harness. Once I installed those items everything works like factory new. Looking at the old RF hub the #7 pin was recessed into the hub and my guess is the C2 wasn't making a solid contact. Odd that that one pin would throw the whole system off. Now if I could figure out how to fix the flashing "P" gear indicator, it doesn't hurt anything so I may leave it.

This forum has been a load of help, onto getting my delaminated 8.4 display fixed. Thanks for the help all.

So you have the push button start and passive entry on a manual truck? I ordered this one because its $75 cheaper from my dealer than the 68234885AB just concerned as to why. :>(
Hopefully none of my other options will stop working.
I assume all trucks have tire monitoring systems so that should still work.

Really the only difference between the hubs as far as I can tell is auto or manual transmission and possibly air ride.

Yes, my truck is manual. I have installed the push button start along with the passive entry door handles.
My TPMS is working fine, everything is working fine as far as the RF module goes.

I don't have air ride, nor do I have remote start through the module (Shouldn't be an option on manual trucks).

So this module came in today but it does not have the third connector that my module has. The single wire one which I assumed was the antenna? Do you have the remote unlock on the key fob as well? Don't want to take this new one home from the dealer as they don't take returns on electronics.
So my truck has the passive entry, remote unlock on the fob and keyless go.

If you’re referring to the pink connector that is for an external antenna. If you purchased a newer push button hub (2017+, maybe 2016 as well) the antenna is built in so you don’t need the external antenna anymore. Just tape it up out of the way. Here is a video I made discussing the differences in hubs:

Has anyone done this change over and had problems with their remote start after. My truck acts like it has started but doesn’t. The dash shows started but truck isn’t running. The only I have seen from inside the truck is that a small re blinking I would say security light on speedo is flashing. Made sure all the setting are still correct in Alpha but nothing is wrong.

Should have asked you this the other day. Are you trying to remote start from inside the truck? You have to be outside. Make sure there are no fobs in the truck and all the doors are closed and try to remote start from outside of the truck.

DoughRat19 thanks for all your help and for the amazing wiring harnesses. You are the best and I am glad that you thought about something I accidentally turned on in AlphaOBD. That fixed my issue

Decided to add proximity handles to the back doors. Passenger side is done. Hoping to have the driver side done tomorrow. Need a nut and bolt to turn a passenger side handle into a driver side handle and then I should be good to go.

I had this on my last truck and need to get it on this one. How did you wire the rears? I used the AutoTech kit the first time. Any help would be appreciated. I've been searching this thread for a couple days when I have time.

I just spliced the front handle wiring and ran it to the back doors. You have to modify a door handle for the back drivers side door though because Ram doesn’t make rear door handles. Passenger side is easy, just use two front passenger handles as they are the same on that side. Drivers side is different since the front handle has the key hole in it and you don’t want that on the back door. You have to buy another passenger side handle and swap some of the mechanical parts to make it a drivers side handle. There is a rivet you have to remove and then you’ll need to replace it with a nut and bolt when you reassemble. So basically you need 3 passenger side passive entry handles and 1 drivers side.

I appreciate the help! I was a little lost plugging into the C2 connector. I already have the handles installed and am finally getting around to wiring it all up. Someone had a write up on here about swapping the handles (or I copied the AutoTech one) that I followed a year or so ago. I absolutely would have bought your harness too but I already had all the connectors and ends made up. Great work btw!

I'm a bit lost.
Installed the new RFH and programed the fobs no problem. Did the new module/relearn no problem. Ignition wont turn off. Install the old RFH and ignition turns off. Can someone with a MANUAL trans 2016 ish RFH send me the RFH log?
I have a few discrepancies between the logs on the two RFH even though they did the relearn from the same BCM. The Bussed input 3 says automatic YES on the new module and NO on the old module even though the old module was in an automatic truck.
I will continue to dig myself deeper into this hole but a copy of a functional RFH would help.

Just to confirm, when you say new module/relearn, you mean the reset/replace function? And the new hub you for it for a manual trans truck?
