I have both Jay and Sean's tune. Both are great tuners and both are very accommodating to make changes. Highly recommend both.

Ryan Hogan of Flying Ryan is a better tuner, these days you only get a generic tune from Jay.I'm not here to start a war,but i've tried Jay out twice, and back when my truck only had a few bolt-ons,it ran faster with a Diablo canned 93 tune then it did with Jays tune, then a couple years ago,i decided to give him a whirl again, after 7 revisions,he wasn't even close to what my local tuner was getting out of my truck.Be cautious of Jays transmission tune to,there's a few guys on the car facebook pages who've cooked their 8 speeds with Jays tranny tune. I'm just warning you,not trying to start a war.

In 2016 Jay tuned my 2012 Ram 6 speed and it was great really woke up the truck. Last month I tried hemifever tune for my 2014 Ram 8 speed and I didn't notice as much performance difference compared to the Diablo canned tune. No trans tune for my 2014. I'll prob try FRP if I get longtube.

Yup FRP will do real good trans tune since he uses HP tuner.

Diablo sucks when it comes to the 8 speeds.

Cool. I checked them out, looks legit and he seems like he offers an excellent service! Having to switch over to an HP Tuners based tune is going to keep me away for a bit; I think HP Tuners is probably better with more granular capabilities from what I've heard, but having to replace my diablo I3 and purchase the credits (5 for our trucks with the 8HP70?) makes my head hurt.

Just throwing this out there, I switched from Diablo to HP because my trinity almost bricked my truck.

HP is nice also because you can make small changes without having to email your tuner and wait for a revision.

Only reason I regret going to HP is I can't run Hemifever tunes anymore.

I just purchased a 2016 R/T with 45000 miles. The truck runs great and I’ve been having a lot of fun toying around in it. I came across a deal on one of the 2.9 Whipple kits that have been discontinued. I ordered the new unlocked PCM and SCT X4 with a canned tune. According to UPS this should be here tomorrow. Question is which of the tuners talked about in this thread support the SCT?

Switch to HP and get ahold of Flying Ryan Hogan of FRP tuning instead, another good tuner is Jeremy Satera or even try Mark Rogee, you can find these guys on the hi-po facebook pages. There's better tuners then the 2 on this thread

I pulled my Hemifever tune with HP Tuners before resetting my Diablo...lol...

With everyone switching over to HP , Im pretty sure Sean will get setup soon enough with the platform.

Just giving an update on my tuner. I have the Diablo tuner with the Hemifever 87 and 93 octane tune. I've had it on the 87 octane tune for the past 20,000 miles with no problems. I decided to change the tune back to the factory setting seeing if it would give me any different MPG. It made my MDS work again which I still say is useless, it spark knocked quite a bit so I put it back to the 87 Hemifever tune and I'm going to leave it alone. Didn't see any better MPG anyway!

Yeah I actually saw better mpg with my Hemifever 89 tune than the factory tune, both running 89. I think it's because the timing tables are more aggressive than the factory tune.

Plus let's face it, the factory tune is dog lol
