Just sold my pw to a dealer out of state. haven't been without a truck in 15 years. Loved the pw but I just didn't drive it enough to justify keeping it right now. Looking forward to seeing what the future holds for the HD line and if they ever mate the new cab to it. Maybe some 35's stock too and a factory king setup?.... I'll be lurking.

Sorry to see it go. I remember I was a bit unhappy when I transferred my truck to parents for a bit, then ended up buying it back. But sounds like now you have cleared the deck and will be ready if the right one comes along. Good luck

While 35’s could be a possibility, i wouldnt hold my breath. As far as shocks go, if they did put any type of quality shock on there, im sure it would be from bilstein like the trx gets.

Yeah, I was thinking with the tremor having stock 35's that it may force their hand. With fuel the way it is it'll sure be interesting to watch though.

I seeing how the PW is a package option of a 2500 I don't see much changing. I like to pick my options especially tires and shocks and I don't think I would want to pay dealer mark up on a even more fancy PW. I am sure you could add all the extras yourself and save some coin. I've been wanting a PW for a long time but not practical for me at the moment.

I just dont like having to do a lot of moding. That was why I liked this truck in the first place. Having the truck basically bone stock yesterday brought me a lot of extra money on the sale (being it was a dealer)

Some people don't and lots love to customize their rig. I rather buy a truck witg a few options and adding everything later. I get the truck i really want. Today's market on used vehicles is crazy and it won't be corrected till supply chain is fixed. I don't foresee that happening for a few years. I know a few people ordering trucks and once delivered selling their other truck making $5k each time.

What attracted me to the PW is that it was properly set up for off-roaring as I would use it - for hunting, ice fishing, going through mud holes in the fall and spring, etc. I haven’t encountered anyone with 37 inch tires yet that actually was using them for anything more than what my 33s can handle. It doesn’t have massive towing capacity, but it pulled my camper all over western Canada just fine. I looked at 1500s for the same price and they weren’t nearly as well appointed as my PW. Couldn’t be happier (well, there is that gas mileage issue…)

I think it does pretty good on gas for what it is...13.5 and bit of a lead foot...my Chevy half ton was 15.5...well worth it..plus I like looking at it...LOL

The dealer mark ups on vehicles these days are insane. I traded my 2018 PW in March for a 2019 PW. My 2018 was a great truck, but it had a lifter knock I wanted to get fixed under my powertrain warranty. I bought it at a used car dealership in 2019, had 6500 miles on it, great deal. Well, truck originally was bought, and came from Canada, so the factory warranty was void as soon as it entered the United States I was told by Chrysler, when they were looking into fixing it. I live in Northern NY state, they said that happens a lot in states that border Canada. Anyway, I traded it at a local Ram dealer and they gave me 50k for the truck, on trade!! My 2019 I traded for had 33k miles on it, level 2 option package, so nice truck. Plus it was ordered with the vinyl floors, no carpet, which is nice. Marked up to $64,500, which was crazy high, but with the 50k they gave me for my 2018, I owed 27k, after financing, my payment went down.

I was actually surprised the dealership paid me what they did. I think the market is pretty slow right now. well, at least where I live in Maine. They have 2 2022's that have been sitting on a local lot for quite a while. I bet there will be som incentives before long.
