Just found mine leaking today, you can see the light through the crack, the dealer said they have to have a leak specialist to look at it .nd they only work Mondays. This Monday is a holiday go figure, anyway having my dash replaced, auto steps replaced, wheels replaced, steering wheel replaced, ram boxes replaced on Tuesday, after waiting since August last year, this truck is a POS, I bought it as a retirement gift when I retired from the Navy, and the dealers suck, so beware. I had to call RAM to get my parts finally, and they came in a week, stay on the dealer if you wait longer than a month call RAM. Also anyone doing a law suit, I want in. This is my third Ram and my last, had them for 30 years. They lost my business

Sorry for your problems. I've had nothing bu good from my 2020 Limited, and the 2019 was great too until I totaled it. Would a lemon law apply in your case?

leak specialist, works one day a week, sounds like the job for me
more like works at that dealership one day a week, probably travels amongst several dealerships each day of the week. Depending on demand that person probably even travels out of their local area having to stay overnight at hotels.
A buddy used to do this but for mechanical issues, if the dealership told you someone from the factory was coming to look at your vehicle they were usually referring to him.

When i still had my 2009 Dodge Ram Quad cab

I wanted a Mopar security system
Well, apparently there was no such animal

They had a contract installer, that had a open faced fabric structure, it was the same as the contracted New Vehicle Prep Crew had.
They would be at the Dodge Dealer certain days & times of the week.
Other times you might see them at the Ford dealership, on the opposite side of the freeway

garbage looking security system they installed

Lots to unpack there. First off, welcome to the forum and thank you for your service to our country. And congratulations on your retirement (belated).

Would you mind giving some details on why you had all of those parts replaced? I'm assuming you're talking about your back window when you say it's leaking and there are cracks. And I'm also assuming your dash was replaced because the cover was delaminating. Both of those seem to be fairly common issues. But why did you need to have your power steps, wheels, and steering wheel replaced? And regarding the ramboxes, do you mean you had the lids replaced, or the entire thing? Was it because of alignment issues (warping)?

I haven't had anything replaced yet, I have an appointment Tuesday, after waiting since August for parts that never got ordered, only after I got ahold of Ram, and complained, they showed up in a week, the window is a new problem also. Also the step work intermittently, a message pops up there is a obstruction in the way, and there isn't.

First off, Ram is the worst manufacture when it comes to consumer service! They only understanding one thing, legal action. I have experience this personally and used “Cremeens Law Group PLLC” in Tampa, FL. It work for me, twice.

Sorry you're having all these problems. I purchased a 2020 limited that sat in a dealers inventory for almost 8 months and have had no issues. The truck is been perfect except for a small issue with the gasket at the main fuel pump on the tank leaking. Dealer took care of that and haven't had any other issues and now have 34000 miles on it.

Limited must mean “limited use” or ”limited use” or ”limited time at home”…..
