Greeting!
My 2012 Ram rear left packing brake lost everything, the base stand got twist, bought a new replacement:1654277456630.png
Question: the 4 bolts is really difficult to push back to the frame support, is there some special trick to do, or only use a big hammer?
the bolts are like following images, there are some notches(nick) beside the head part
By the way, where can buy this bolt, I require two, broke one, lost one
Thanks!

Dealer only item. The purpose of those ridges is to prevent them from backing out. I hope you have a high torque 1/2" impact driver.

Should be able to get them from any of the online Mopar parts dealers.

A air hammer would make quick work of putting these back in. Bigger question I would have to damage the bracket have you made sure the axle and housing are good?

Thank you, this part have been complete... just use the wrench, the bolt can fully back.
In the wheel part, change the brake is enough, other bearing, seal are still good.

but the rear differential fall down few types gear, try to find a guide to install them back :(
after the pack brake, the big project is change the pinion seal, it looks require too much details, prepare a lot of one time use parts

The fall down gears: figure out to install back

Did the axle slide out during the damage occurring? You are talking about the spider gears in the rear differential. There should have been c clips holding the axles in and then their would have been a center pin held in by a bolt. Axles through 2 gears and the center pin through the other 2 gears. Once the axle is pushed through the gear the c clip goes on the axle and pull axle to lock in place. The other 2 gears can be rotated in and the center pin pushed through them to hold in place. Then install the center pin bolt should have at minimum blue loctite on it during assembly.

I have once snapped the center pin bolt holding the spider gear pin in which destroyed the gears (burn outs and traction didnt mix well).

The damage only in packing brake, every thing here is lost, only left the rotor and caliper, it maybe happened before I buy it.
The differential gear's problem is because the installation, I have to open the rear differential let the axle can move out, so I can remove the brake base support(I guess the key word, it's the first image), but I don't know should let the pin lock back immediately after remove the axle, so when I move the axle few times, it made the gears fall down in the bottom of differential

Find someone with some experience to lend a hand ,and or get some good diagrams and manuals to guide you.Check your axles to make certain they are not bent from the impact.

I know this was a couple months ago, but if you ordered the bracket from an online mopar dealer, I know you didn't get it yet, I been waiting on parts since March 2022, haha.
Anyway, if you have not finished this job yet, putting back the spider and axle gears is very easy, you simply put the axle gears back in first making sure the flat thrust washer(s) are placed on the back side of the gears, then you put the smaller spider gears in by putting 1 on each side of the installed axle gears so they are exactly opposing each other, (make sure to put the 2 concave thrust washers you found in the bottom of your differential on the back of the spider gears first) then while holding them in place, rotate the gears 90 degree as an assembly (meaning you are really rotating the axle gears while the spider gears are being held into the grooves of the axle gears) this will place the spider gears back into position over each other, then slide the cross pin back into place, insert the cross pin retaining bolt and you done.
As long as you did not remove the carrier bearing caps, you don't need to make any adjustments (even if you did, you probably won't, as long as the pinion shaft was not touched)

For some good videos on the, search YouTube for spider gear install
