I have a 2016 Ram 2500hd 6.4L hemi with the anti spin rear and 6 speed auto. It has 101K miles I bought it used 10 months ago from a dodge dealer. I have taken it to that same dealer as well as a different dealer about a "shutter" that they all think I am out of my mind about. It seems to only happen when the truck either shifts up into 2nd gear or shifts down into 2nd gear, but I am still unable to cause it to do it on demand. It can violently shake the truck and it feels just like "wheel hop" and the truck bounces and it is coming from the rear or the transmission but not the front end. I have changed the rear fluid and the transmission fluid and both filters in the transmission. And it still does it. It will do it more often when turning a right corner without coming to a full stop. But it has done it when accelerating straight or turning in either direction under just normal acceleration. I am 100% sure it is not spinning the tires. If I heavy accelerate it does not "shutter" it either feels like it's wheel hopping or something is wrong inside the transmission but no one believes me. Can anyone help me figure this out? It does these things whether I am driving empty or towing a car and trailer or towing my skid loader. Thanks!!

I know exactly what you talking about. It seems to happen because it hangs up in 3rd gear. I'm just guessing but it feels like the torque converter is shuddering or the clutches are slipping. Either way when it starts makes it stop immediately. I've figured out when it will happen and quickly double pump the accelerators and it gets it to downshift.
