Hi everyone a couple months back I was in an accident on the highway. was passing when one of the vehicles I was passing decided to turn left. I tried my best to avoid the collision bur he hit me in my passenger side front tire and came down the side of my truck. Mine is the lifted truck, it pushed my front in about 2" and rear in about 1" and bent the axle. Attached are the pics of the initial accident.
The issue I am having is now after I have gotten it back my read passenger tire is still pushed in about an 1" and want some ideas on what you think it can be? I think its a bent shock but the collision company that did the repairs said there is nothing more they can do so i have to get it reassessed from someone else.

I will attached pictures of the difference and wondering if anyone has any ideas on what can be the cause so I know what to tell the nest collision center.

rear end housing and Axle !
a 1/8 bend in outer housing close to wheel will put it out at to by close to a inch
when you drive through water in a straight line do all the tire marks all line up ( rear tire marks go directly over front tire marks ) ?

If the truck was properly aligned after the repair a bent rear axle housing would have been easy to spot. Track bars in general move the axle slightly left or right depending on load on the axle. That is just an artifact of the axle end moving in a slight arc. It may have looked like that before, but it's also possible that the accident bent one of the track bar mounts. The kit does have a relocation bracket which is a weak point so that deserves a closer look.

Shock mount has nothing to do with the alignment of the rear end. Do you have a alignment print out from the repair?

***edit***
So after looking at your pictures again possible that the shop put a longer than needed track bar on or during the collision the factory track bar could have bent straighter if that makes sense, essentially lengthening the bar. Either way the track bar is the centering factor for the rear end. Something is off with it either being the bar or mounting location frame or axle side.

What about the rim? Did they order a new rim? Is the offset correct or maybe did you have a spacer and that didn't get added?

Also, have you gone back to the bodyshop and showed them the issue? Most shops don't want shoddy work out there with their name on it, bad for their reputation.
yes, they said they weren't equipped to do the work needed and are sorry and paid my deductible I think it is absolutely ridiculous but what could I say??

Yes, everything was replaced just the rear tire sites offset about an inch. I just wanna give the new collision center all the info on what to look for.

I would have asked them why they didn’t say anything when you picked it up. Again call your ins company and tell them your truck wasn’t fixed correctly.

I had the same accident many years back, sucks buggers sorry to hear this. They tagged me with fault even though he had no blinker on. His family was local cops, helped his case I bet.

Good luck to you.

One thing that i noticed when working on my 1956 Chevy 1/2 ton
When the frame was being cut off just forward of the trucks cab to add the Camaro front clip.
Some brand new steering rods are built with a curve or arc in it & we were using used parts & at times, we thought a rod should be straight & a discussion was had.
I ended up getting the same part off another vehicle & it was manufactured with an arc.

There is no book that states whether a certain part should be straight or curved.
Lift & Lowering Kits could be made like that

Nope he was at fault, he even said he didn't check his mirrors before he turned.
