Map And Dome LED Replacement??

My Daughter bought a used 2016 RAM 1500 Sport.......NICE TRUCK except for the gear shift KNOB....not a fan of the KNOB!!

Her driver's side Map light is out as is one of the Dome LEDs.......anyone have a trick for replacing 'em??

She lives 200 miles away and I seldom get there.......any suggestions are greatly appreciated!!

Sylvania has some at Advanced Auto parts, I used them for mine. Not a Sport with factory LEDs, but I'm sure they have the same for factory LED replacement.

The Sport trucks have LED dome lights that are not a simple replacement bulb. The above listed video is good, but there are a couple of others. Most change out due to the flickering. Do a search on flickering dome lights should help you fix the problem.

I did mine this weekend. I popped the white plastic out then popped the black trim ring off around them. They were 194 halogens got these from amazon. 10 for like 12$ They have them at autozone but 14$ for 2

I tried the Boosted Motorsports version & I'm very happy with the results. Now to follow the other video for the rear dome light.

Rear dome is easy. 43mm FESTOON, one side has a notch for a tool, you pop that, and then you have the bulb. (Adding for anyone in the future.) Or at least this is the '18's.

I'm kinda pissed at Dodge for the rear dome, and the engine bay light. The only "reflector" for all the wasted incandescent light in these is the bus bars. The map/sun visors at least got like some aluminum tape...
