Per instructions for the extended rear sway links, it mentions the stock ones are on the inside and theirs go on the outside. Am I looking it wrong cause the stock ones are on the outside

Follow his instructions everything will fit and have proper clearance. Also, for the rear springs make sure they are mounted with the bottom isolater tab facing towards the rear of the truck and that both springs are pointed in the same direction aka in-phase with one another. I made the mistake of installing them out of phase and had to go back and fix that.

Good luck with the install today! My Thuren front/back shocks and coils come today and I’ll be installing tomorrow, would certainly appreciate any advice!

Hope they all go in easy!

What’s the difference between the shock mounting nuts (stem top) and the shock tower nuts? Trying to figure out what needs two full turns vs 55lbs torque

Eye bolt is the lower front and rear. Stem top is front upper and shock tower nut is upper rear.

Seems odd they call the top mount for the shocks different names and install differently, when they look to be identical ?

Good stuff thanks. Should I back off the 55lbs on top of the shocks and go to snug + 2 full rotations? 55lbs felt just past (pretty close) 2 full rotations but I don’t want them over tightened or is there no concern?

Also, this is the last thing I can’t seem to figure out. I know it’s simple but I just can’t “see it” or picture it. Can someone break this down for me or post some pictures?

They are generic specs. The older 2500s didn't have pin top rear shocks. The bottom bolt goes through eye holes and the top rear mounted to the frame on a stud like my 3500. The front is a pin top and typically has a spacer so you can't over tighten with a nylon nut.

You rear shocks are pin tops I would follow the torque specs for the front to the rear. There should be a spacer in the rubber bushing to prevent over tightening

From the Thuren page, you might not need the bracket.
"The 2019-2022 trucks uses a rubber guide that functions fine with our added travel. The use of this bracket allows the cables to be less restricted, so we can add more suspension travel without kinking the E-Brake cable housing."
