Ok the chat line finally gave me an eta of late June or July for a February order that was most likely finished late April or 1st of May, so 12 weeks just turned into 24. will see. 3 months to build. 3 months to ship..Finally got an update it is due in the next few days before July 1.

My 3500 was ordered 1/31 & it is still not built yet. Frustrating since I know it will be another month+ to get it here after it's built!

My truck took 6 weeks from MX to get to receiving rail yard in WA and then sat just shy of 3 weeks in rail yard waiting to be unloaded and released to their transporter so it could travel 75 miles to the dealer...

The Rail Yard does not own the car hauler company

Too bad the Rail Yard does not call for a truck to pick up a load of vehicles, Then if a truck is not readily available, the dealership could be contacted, so they could make arrangements for a Hot Shot company to pick up the vehicle at the Rail Yard.

My truck the rail yard was the hold up due to no workers or so they claim, in fact dealership had one of there own truck's hot shot to the rail yard to get it back to dealer once it was off loaded and they were notified it was ready for transport, they had to hot shot it as they had to add running board, undercoat & fender flairs to the truck after it had been through PDI a lot to do in 48 hours before I was to pick it up...

This is just unbelievable. I just ordered mine 3 June 2022. Of course I have no information using the VON. I also signed up for text updates from RAM. By all estimates from everyone on here it looks like I should not get to excited till sometime in December. Maybe make it here by Christmas or my birthday. We sure won‘t be hauling the travel trailer long distances with the struggling 1500 Hemi.

This is the new normal dealers want. It increases their profits with no holding costs, and all the problems get shifted to the buyer who waits with no control. The upside to ordering is you get exactly what you order. The downside is everything else. Funny, it seems dealers do less and less and earn more money, but states won't allow direct sales, saying dealers are necessary to support the buyer.

For me, never going to order. I want a big ticket item when I want it. I am flexible on features so not a problem to buy off the lot.

Received an update today, my truck was shipped 11-June...estimated delivery 6-July. If that is the case it would be just over 90 days from my order confirmation.

One thing I’m noticing guys; my ship date keeps changing and my estimated delivery date was the 19th, then the 24th, then back to the 19th of June. Regardless I hope it is next week. For those of you still waiting early in the process, I can’t tell if there is a reason my order seemed to go faster Than others on here. It has seemed that way for some of you. I did notice on my build sheet we all signed, that they submitted it as a paid customer order. I also know dealership position does have some influence too but it all seems like black magic. Technically I paid the deposit, but won’t pay until delivery.

I'm hoping to place an order today if the dealer doesn't go all stupid. With the supply, and delivery problems these days I hope I get lucky like you, and get a 90 day delivery. I wish you luck that your's will stay on schedule.

Well boys and girls, the dealer was straight up, and I made the order. Now the long wait begins. :)

So, here's the deets.......

Laramie 2wd w/5.7L 3:21 gears (no 3:21 shaming, I'm a very sensitive person) lol
Flame Red
Sports Package
Advanced Safety Group (that surround view camera system is the bee's knees)
Level 2 Equipment Group (I loves me a good sound system) along with the nannies that will help when I have that monster in the dang little parking spaces in my town.
Rear Wheel Well liners
Floor mats

Not an expert like a few others on here...but doesn't seem like a build that should take too long (whatever that means). Keep us updated and good luck!

That's what I hoping also Shaun. Thanks, and I will keep everyone updated. Even at my more mature age (re: old) I am quite excited about the order. I've driven Ford truck for years, but when we test drove the new Ram we were very impressed. Driving a Jeep for the last several years I was looking for something a little more comfortable, quiet, and importantly drove better. The Ram hit it out of the park. The Ram's interior blows the Ford's away, and the ride/drive makes the Ford F-150 feel like a 2 horse wagon.

that surround view camera system takes a lot of Microchips

If there is a big delay, that will be the reason
