Good morning, I'm trying to disconnect my chassis harness to clean it due to having some electrical issues, but the lever that you lift to open the connector is broken. Was wondering if there are any nondestructive ways to get it apart? The specific connector in question is part # 68080570AA. I would eventually like to replace the whole chassis harness so for now I'm OK with it being in the state it is now, but can't afford the whole harness currently so would like to not destroy it right now.

You can buy the part of the connector you need from the dealer for under $60. Took me about an hour and half to remove the wheel line, methodical unpin and repin the new connector half.

Sorry forgot to answer your question. I had to spray some lube in between the two halves, after I stuck a small thin standard screw driver to get a small gap started. Grab both ends and start wiggling and pulling.
