Mounting front license plate with the holes in the bumper

I have a 2022 longhorn I bought it in Arizona . I live in California I need to mount a front plate . the bumper has 3/8" drill in it. what to use to attach the front plate. I have searched the forum with no results. I have tried the square nylon inserts they don't work in a round hole.

I had to replace the front license plate bracket, because when they installed my front plate they stripped both holes by using a zip gun screwdriver.

Buy a front plate mount that bolts on then add your plate. They’re available via Amazon for $16.00.

Your truck should have come with a front bracket. I am in Alberta, we don't need front plate, my 2021 truck still had the bracket and mounting gear. Look under the front and rear seats and in the in-floor bins in the back seat. Mine was under the drivers side rear seat, along with the owners manual.

Ask your salesperson at the dealership, I believe the vehicle should come with a mounting kit/bracket or they may provide one if you ask for it.

just use two bolts..nothing else needed..

They do not necessarily send the front plate all the time. We get many stock vehicles without them. Anytime I place a sold order, I always include it.
I agree with crash, get with your salesman, he should be able to help you out. I have done this before for customers in Texas that require a front plate.

I used two 1/8 " toggle bolts. The dealer is in Arizona I am in bakersfield. The plate is on there very secure. Thank you for the replies.

You know he can ship it to a nearby dealer, or there is always UPS.
