Hello everyone, i recently picked up the maxtrac 7in lift for my 2016 1500, the lift allows up to a 37in tire, can i use my oem rebel wheels or will i need to get aftermarket? Also i went with the 37x13.5x17 Geolander X-AT.

Congrats, I have the same lift, but running 35” Geolanders with absolutely Zero issues.

Still have lots of miles left, but when the time comes I’ll give either 35x 13.5 a try, or go to 37”. Will likely be determined by overall availability of that size in the future. Ypu can find 35,s anywhere if needed in a jam. Not sure of the other sizes.

My wheels are Fuel Mavericks 20x 9. Don’t know the size of your Rebels.

Maxtrac does have a statement regarding offsets, so I’d give them a call just the same.

Search for CheechDogg.On37s In the forum. He’s running the same lift with 37’s And is So calf as well :waytogo:

You should have no issues at all, might rub a bit on the air dam depending on the offset of the rebel wheels ... but I think you shouldn't have any issues at al

Also have any of you dealt with wheel adapters and big tires? i have a set of Method 315 5x5 and if i could use them safely i would bit am weary of adding the wheel adapter in between. Or should i just take the loss on them and sell?

I have 1/4” spacers on the rear. With the front spindle lift, the geometry pushed the fronts out a bit, and I wanted a square set up.

Dont go cheap though. Quality matters big time here, and you will feel any vibrations at speed if they are not true.

Yeep .... the Bora spacers is what I would of used if I did the same as you, but the difference was so minimal to me I chose to avoid them,

To OP, I would just sell those, I personally avoid spacers unless necessary which to this day I yet to be convinced it's ever been necessary lol ....

Plus you can get the correct offset and width to not have to worry about anything, 20x9 - 20x12 with no more than a - 19 offset is a sure bet you won't rub with those 37x13.5s .... you can even do my set up, 20x12s -44 offset but you "WILL" have to trim your bumper and do a Ram version of the "NORTH CAL MOD" on the pinch welds, not hard at all, I did it in about 2 hours on my truck and don't rub at all, not even at full lock ...

So update , Maxtrac said that the 37x13.5 will fit with the OEM rebel rims. I’ll go with those for now until I sell the methods and get something else I want
