New 2022 Ram 1500 with multi-function tailgate. There are braces in the cargo bed corners. I assume these add structural support for when the doors are opened sideways. Anyway, I can’t add a crossover tool box because of these braces. Are there any fixes to this with experienced owners ?smh

I would hazard a guess that they are there for structural support for those bed tie downs you have that go along over the wheel well, so if you were willing to give up full functionality of those you could *probably* remove those support braces

Those tie down rails are part of the “Bed Utility Group”. The corner braces are not part of that. The braces are for the MFT. Many comments about them on here and how they impede crossover tool boxes and tonneau covers.
