Finally replaced the beastly Ridge Grapplers that had 3/32 tread left .:)

Crazy how much vibration the Ridge grapplers had at their EOL vs the new tire.

Love the look of the Recons! They are 3-5lbs lighter than the Ridge. Like driving on clouds!!

Nice! They look good too. I am one of the few members here that have been less than satisfied with my RGs, I am in the market for a new set of tires soonish.

I like a very aggressive looking tire, the grapplers were almost not aggressive enough but I decided to give them a shot, plus I got them pretty cheap lol
I got my ridge grapplers for super cheap, Discount tire matched an Amazon price I think. They were under $1500 for the set for me if I remember correctly. I love Nitto as a brand so I plan on staying with them for my next set but I am not sure what set I want to get next. These Recons look super nice though, going to price a set out asap

I payed $1700 for my grapplers and right now I am seeing them as high as 2800 for the set, fawken insane!

Yeah. I paid below 2k taxed for my Ridge Grapplers previously and those are almost 3k for a set of 4 now.

I was shocked to see the prices but what are you going to do? Park it and drive a Prius? :jnono:

Got lucky. Picked my set up from discount tire over memorial weekend for roughly 1400 installed for the set.

I was leaning towards the Terra Grappler G2s but these Recons look really nice!

I had the Terra Grappler G2's.

Save your money!! I expect traction with an all terrain tire and these did not deliver.

The Ridge Grapplers are amazing new, but like others have mentioned something happens to them as they get down to the low wear tread that screams new tires!!

I've been researching this model for some time so other than the current pricing it's a win.

I'd save Ridge Grapplers for the 2500 and 3500. The tires are 80/lbs a piece!
