You'll never have a MPG thread that ever Cummins owner doesn't want to jump in to tell you how great the Cummins is for MPG....Bro.

My 2012 Cummins was deleted and tuned and could barely squeak out 15-16 MPG driving like grandma....loaded it lost less than a gas motor.

But my POWERWAGON gets 15-16 on the same route as my old truck. but way more smiles per mile and tows my trailers just as good.

Yes but then never brag about how little the payload is.

I'm pretty sure it's about the Power Wagon considering it's in the Power Wagon subforum. I even pointed out how to determine that it's in the Power Wagon subforum, it's either a lack of reading or comprehension.
I'll try typing slower..
P O W E R W A G O N subforum

I’m confused is this trend about the Power Wagon or all models?

Personally if you buy a power wagon, mpg doesn’t matter.

If MPG matters, buy a 1500. If your not sure if you will like a 1500, just ask any soccer mom and they will be able to tell you all about them.
I feel insulted by this comment..

I looked at this thread just for laughs. My baby diesel 1500 gets 27 MPG in mixed city driving around town 32 on the interstate. Better than my wife's heavy v6 Solara convertible and about what my lead footed kid gets with the Nissan Sentra!
27 & 35 MPG is the BEST I have seen anywhere.!!

Given the unbelievable weight of all that fuel I’d say your losing mpg having to cart it around. At $5.75 a gam diesel that’s expensive hauling. Very happy with 32 gal tank and 125.00-150.00 fillips every 300 miles (I fill up at 1/4 tank). Also with fuel costs all over the map (state to state) It makes a certain amount of financial sense to only fill up with 32 gallons. I could be wrong and I’m open to suggestion let me know your feelings

Lol mines setting on 9.7 right now, drive 4 miles to work then 4 miles back home just don’t do my mileage any good. :)
Surprised it’s far enough to charge the battery or get out of 4th gear. Haha

2.5 MPD is the best that I've seen it get this week. MPD is miles per dollar. Based on $5.999 per gallon locally x 2.5 MPD = 15 MPG. Not bad for the Power Wagon.
That point of view brought a tear to my eye. I like to drive but 6 bucks a gallon takes the fun out of it.

And that's for 85 octane regular.

Towed a 14 x 6 x 6 loaded utility trailer to Virginia this week with the Power Wagon due to my family's vehicle during their move from Wyoming blew out an engine rear main seal while towing it into Nebraska. The Power Wagon couldn't feel it back there and averaged 13.0 MPG while towing it a 77 MPH. I had just replaced the original factory Bosch spark plugs the night before with NGK at 95K miles.

This morning in Kentucky...
