As mentioned, measure and see what you got. Typical factory rake (slope) is @ 2-3 inches. That will give you a n7mber to shop around with.

Keep in mind what your going to be using the Ram for as well. If you don’t use the bed much, not a big deal. But if you do and you level it…… you’ll end up with the Cali Sqat. Not my thing, but maybe what your looking for.

what size kit makes 2012 1500 level
You do not want to “level” a 4th gen ram. The hood sits higher than the bed giving a squated truck look. If you go a touch higher in the front for a pre runner style and the rest of the truck matches the stance that’s acceptable

Generally speaking 2.5” will get you the levelled look. Every truck is slightly different so that’s not 100% accurate for EVERY single truck out there, but that’s generally what you need to lift the front to make it levelled, and what most levelling kits will list as the lift height.

If you tow or haul heavy things often this will not only make it look not right, but will also make it unsafe and affect your steering and braking when pulling or hauling heavy loads. That’s beyond aesthetics, that’s a safety issue, so if you do plan to level and still haul and tow, you need to look into either air assist springs or more heavy duty rear springs etc.
