I've got a 2019 Diesel 3500 Mega Cab with 51,517 miles and engine light came on with code P2459 and P20B9. Dealer says I need new Converter-Catalytic which part alone is $2,353. Also need to replace P&A DEF line from pump to DEF injector. All this together is $4,603. Has anybody else had this issue? I've spoken to some mechanics and from what they've told me is Ram is having major problems with there emissions system. I think this would have been covered under the warranty had the light come on under 50K miles. Any help would be apprieciated.

You missed it by 1,517 miles for a warranty replacement.

I would personally edelte it if I were you. A whole lot cheaper and no more worries.

I am under the impression that emission systems are under warranty for 150,000 per federal law. This should be covered.
