Just joined, I have a 2009 Ram 2500 diesel I purchased new.I had an issue 4-5 years ago trans stayed in 4th limp mode the dealer did the repair,valve body and solenoid don't remember any more.Just happened again trans shop did the same repair and installed a reman tipm from Maks in california.Problem returned they said I need a trans control module.Its now at the 2nd dealer for flash and program but was told the tipm wasn't giving enough or proper volts to tcm.tipm was sent to Maks for testing and are told its fine.Waiting for tipm to be sent back for more testing.I feel this is an electrical issue and not a device problem, the trans shop is paying the dealer because they could not solve the problem. The dealer has been good with updates and listening to my thoughts.Can bad or weak grounds be an issue?Thank you for any thoughts and input,Webb.
