I liked when I lived in Iowa they used a 50/50 salt sand mixture so the rusting didn't seem as bad then. About 2 or 3 times a year I also spray the whole underneath of my truck with WD-40. Seems to help a lot.

Everywhere in Iowa that I have seen uses straight salt. The IDOT does anyway, so all state highways and interstates got straight salt.

Looks like this is for the DS/Classic trucks and not the DT.

How's the brake dust on these? I need to do my fronts. Im going to get the element 3 rotors but was thinking Wagner OEX pads since they hardly leave any dust.

Very little dust with them.
