There it goes again. Been looking every-freaking-where for a long travel kit and there is only the one I-shall not-name-because-everyone-knows-which.
My question then goes as follow : does anyone know a shop (first choice in Canada but at this point I'm willing to look anywhere) who could possibly make my wish come true ?
Already been in contact with TMR Custom, but they don't do custom kit like that.
Been trying to talk with somebody at Dirt King but a this time still no response.
I'm lost.
Please help a good fellow.
And Pardon My French.

Dirt King has the kit. What specifically are your concerns?

11 000$ just for the front, nothing installed. And i have to wait 30 weeks for the coilovers and bypass. That's what concerns me.
I know, I know, everyone is in the same boat, and I know a setup like this is expensive and can turn into a money pit very easily, 'specially for us Canuks (and in Quebec we have a higher tax rate than the rest of the country -_-).
And I'm the kind the guy who likes to work on the truck in a DIY way.
I can go to a fab shop anytime I want and have access to laser table, bending, etc.

I am very well aware of those 2, I should have said that I have to keep the truck 4WD because of 3 feet of snow during the night. That exclude GOR right of the bat.
And as I said earlier, Dirt King is much more expensive on this side of the border and I'm looking at a 20 000$+ build.

I'm open to any other advise.

Do you really need long travel?

Why not just do UCA's and a nice 2.5" coilover?

I'm doing it all wrong. I should have state my goals with this build.

- First of all, my truck used to have air suspension, but a leak in a balloon push me to change for the Strutmaster conversion. Now I have a ****ing rake and I hate it very much. IMO, trophy truck style, with the front a tiny bit more lifted, is the best.
- On mid long term, I'd like to bring the truck to the Baja 1000 to compete in the Sportsman class. Do I really need long travel to do it ?
- On long term, I'd like to create a race who will take place during winter, in the woods, road and frozen lake. I've been talking to some people to start making plans and reach influent people to help. So I need a tough suspension kit who can take on any terrain, on any weathers.

No one close to me worth mentionning. I found a lot in SoCal, but I'm in the North-West of the province of Quebec, so liiiiittle far.
And I changed my plans anyway as my wife became pregnant.
Now with the newborn I'll be looking for 2.5 coilovers all around instead.

First Congratulations!
I know how that goes putting goal\dreams aside for the family it sucks but I think it worth it.
but my dream is to have a long travel 4x4 truck. i don't know how i want to go about it yet. looking around it seems it going to be a custom job and big chunk of money. that or find S-10 or equivalent size truck and just make a little desert romper out of it. my kid is 8 now and i want to find a big project for us to do.

DK is awesome stuff could be very well worth the wait. There is also Zona Motorsports out of Tucson AZ. This is a dirtking kit and Carbon coilover and rear king triple bypass.

Thanks !

The project is only put on hold for some years, I'll get back to it as soon as it can !!
You can also send an e-mail to Kibbetech, I talked to them last year and at that time it could still be available to build the kit.
It came with Uppers, lowers, spindles, steering and axles
Up to 16'' travel with custom engine cage
Kit bolts on but you need to fabricate shock mounts.
That's for a 10".

You can still use this kit with an 8" for starter and then switch to longer and add a bypass.

FYI, I checked with them for this kit and it is now discontinued.

They did told me tough that they have a new TRX kit in development that you can retrofitted on regular Ram truck. BUT he's not sure if it will fit on 4th gen/classic.

So my guess is good news for them 5th gen guys, there's a kit coming and I'm sure it will be an awe-freaking-some one.

Don't know if anyone else have info on this ?
