If you are replacing the manifolds, and if money is not the primary motivator I would suggest investigating "shorty headers". The bolt issue is resolved and the shorty's are the same dimensions meaning the stock exhaust i.e. the y pipe bolts directly to the headers with no modifications. The delta between the set of headers and the set of OE manifolds is nominal.
