I am purchasing a "used" 500 mile TRX for my boss. I talked him into the TRX vs his normal 2 year upgrade of decked out Laramie's. We soon found out the current wait time is 7-9 months and we went a different direction. We found a "used one", that was purchased from a back out customer at the dealer, the current toy dealer bought it from the dealer with 5 miles on it and has since added 500 miles to it while they are waiting to sell.
My question is, are the only floor mats that come for the TRX the rubber ones? I understand this is basically a Baja truck by design vs a high end luxury truck like the limited is, but he does like his carpeted mats from the limited? The dealer said these were the only mats for it, but wondering if that is a true statement. When building a new TRX online it does look like the only mats are rubber, but figured I would check here.
Also, is there a way to order a replacement center console cover without the TRX VIN plate. The goal here would be to keep the original one packaged up until re-sale and just use a non plated version for daily use.
Thanks in advance.
