Hello all!
Signing up for the forum to get more info on rams before I pull the trigger. A little backstory.
I’ve owned 2 (new at the time) dodge dakotas.
Had a 2004 Regular Cab ST manual RWD V6 (cost me $12k out the door brand new ). Then got a 2008 Dakota V8 regular cab 4WD Manual. I wish I still had either of them.
Since then I’ve had a variety of cars including Mustangs, a Jeep and a Corvette. I currently drive a 2017 Shelby GT350. I’m obviously not into brand loyalty. I like what I like.
We are currently looking at buying a pick up as a 3rd car (my wife drives a 2021 Explorer ST) just for errands and hauling things to the dump etc.
I’m looking at used 2014+ regular cab V8s. I’ve found a few and am currently looking at a 2016 with 70k miles. Most of my questions revolve around the reliability and if I should look into a 3rd party warranty. My budget is around 20k. The truck will probably see 3k miles a year tops. Anyway, I’ll post my specific questions in the right area. Just wanted to introduce myself. Any advice is always much appreciated.
Thanks!
Pete
