Currently driving across country and my Ram 2500 6.7 is feeling really sluggish, very little power when I put the pedal down but still getting good fuel economy. Just changed the oil / air filter / fuel filters a few weeks ago. Currently getting around 1.7 LB/M at idle and around 10 LB/M cruising at 70mph. From what I can feel inside the wheel well the tube that connects to the air filter doesn’t feel crushed, but the whole thing feels a little loose, not sure how it connects to the air box, any insight?

Maybe you got some bad fuel, try a cetane boost? Run it til the tank gets low. Happens with diesel. This happened right after air filter? Why I prefer high flow air filters as opposed to ones that trap more dirt. Cetane boost might break though, or get a high flow air filter.

I had originally thought along those lines, but I use the hot shots additive every fill up and have been through 6-7 tanks of fuel and it’s still acting the same unfortunately. I’m using a Wix filter, which I used everytime I’ve changed the filter with success, has me stumped

I'ma risk taker, I'd take the air filter off for a short run just to diagnose if it is air restriction issue. No I wouldnt go driving down a dirt road, but you know what Im say'n.

So far I swapped it with a STP high flow air filter and while it seems to have a little more pep, the MAF numbers are still the same ‍♂️

Are you getting a code? You do any deletes or it is bone stock? Check volts on the pins? Is there a plug on MAF, I havent been in a cummins in about 20 years, I'd check voltages if no codes or sensor issues. Sometimes those can slip through.

Yeah bone stock and no codes, I’ll check that out and see what I can find thank you I can’t really find any good data of the numbers I should be looking for on the MAF in LB/M
