USB Port under my center cover of my RAM, ie., arm rest in center is Charge only. 2 USB under center stack radio are Apple/Android/Charge

I was in from '71 to '93. 1st 9 yrs was on skimmers and shore duty, then went to subs. PH from '80 til '93. On Aspro (SSN 648) from '80 til '84. NSTCP from '85 to '88, then Honolulu (SSN 718) from '88 to '91, then Shipyard PH until I retired. You?

Yeep, but I have seen 3 trucks where they were supposed to have media USB ports and they were all charge only lol ...
On my truck the 2 USB ports inside the center console are both media/charge

YUP, same as mine, but since I got a lowly Bighorn, not a lot of extra stuff, like ONLY 1 12V outlet, nothing in rear, no 400W inverter, U know, stuff like that. But then, my truck is a driveway princess, hee hee.

YUP, U just have done a "few" more Mods than me, but in the end same basic tranny and motor, lol.

71-79. Use Parche SSN683, USS Lapon SSN661. Worked at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard overhauling, refueling and cutting them up; retired in 2007. Enjoyed working with the sailors as it kept me young. Miss the camaraderie that existed on the boats.

Are the files in your Walkman mp3? Google to find the files it can play and cross reference them with what your 2018 can play.
I had to convert some of my music files to mp3 to play on my 2016.

They're mp-3 files. Did a Google search on it and found out I would need to get an Android app to change the formats. So far, I've spent about 12 hours copying CDs to my Mac. Probably another 4 to go. Being retired I have the time for this and no desire to purchase an app for a one time use.

one large one looked similar to a USB port or card reader
one small one was for charging
the 3rd one played his saved music
i don't know if he was using a smart phone or what ever
I don't use those fancy gadgets
inside the console

I have 2 in the console and 2 in the area under the radio and I've tried them all.
