New running boards

Have 06 2500 standard cab looking for running boards that will go beyond the cab so I can use it to get to the tool box don’t need to spend a bunch it’s just a work truck with 390,000 miles
Any ideas? Thanks

I don't recall. I do remember they bolted onto existing, factory mount points if that means anything.

So my question is would a pair of OEM power boards from '19 New body style fit/work on the Classic 4th Gen body?

No, the cab mounts are different, unless you find a set off a 19+ 2500/3500.

So just to make it clear- a set off of a 5th Gen 2500/3500 will fit a 4th Gen 1500?
Yes, because the "5th" gen 2500/3500 aren't a true 5th gen. They are still using the 4th gen cab and bed.
