My truck is Flame Red, TBH, I would like Hydro Blue as first choice, but was not available when I bought my early build MY 19 truck in Aug 2018.

Don't feel bad I ordered a 3500 in Oct2021 and its been sitting in the train yard in Texas. I have heard issues about a strike coming up in July and there is a shortage of workers at the yard etc...it sucks waiting and the dealership is pissed as well they have a lot of trucks there they need......

From the Texas Railroad Hub, ( Switch Yard )
They sort the rail cars, some go East through Louisiana
Most go North to Kansas City & St. Louis
The rest go West through El Paso, Lordsburg N.M. , Tucson, Yuma Az , Glamis Sand Dunes, Palm Springs, Riverside, then lastly, Mira Loma, Calif.

From Mira Loma, it will be trucked to San Diego to your dealership

If you ordered from someplace else, it could take weeks longer

Mine has been done since June 14th & is still sitting in Mexico!!! I have ordered vehicles before & was pretty patient but I am at the 6 month mark now & getting REALLY frustrated!

Any ideas on how long that part takes? Dealer doesn’t have any more information than I do.

I called RAM customer service today and had them check on my 3500 I ordered March 18th. The last update to the order tracking website was April 27 when it was supposed to be "scheduled for production"...WTF?

CoSooner,
the factory calls it shipping when it leaves the assembly line

From there it has to go to the Body Vendor for any parts that are not put on during assembly.

Then it returns to Final Inspection
Then it REALLY goes into Shipping, also called Transit

As soon as they have enough Ram 1500s of every model to fill a R.R. Freight Car that is going only to Oklahoma City.
It will be on its way

It all happens a lot faster with the 1/2 ton's. Hope you get it soon!

The HD's come out of Mexico, and there have been some extended delays with shipping from there.

Just checked today because I found my window sticker online and the truck was built on 7/27 ...only took them 6 days. Shipping is still TBD, but I expect it to be at least a month from what I'm reading.

Wow, base price has jumped $1,995 since I placed my order on May 13 based on the window sticker.

The price has jumped almost $4k on the HD I ordered back in March. But I don't have to pay any of the increase. I have that in writing from the dealer.
