I will be using the rear 12V source for my Dometic fridge on a trip while driving. While stationary it will be on a 12V Lifepo 20ah battery and solar. The fuse is 20A and the unit specs out that full draw is 7 amps, although normal running amps are 1.25. I think I am ok but was wondering does anyone else do it this way? Or use any other accessory on that power that draws the same or more power without issue? Have a great weekend peeps.

I used the back seat power source for 2 weeks on my vacation. No issues at all. I switched power when I stopped to a 20ah Lifepo battery pack that I re-charged during the day on the front 110v power point. A great two weeks and now I know it works on a Dometic CFX 35. I read the amp draw in the manual and it is 7 amps at start up. That load is ok on the wiring. I pre-cooled the fridge and the food before starting the trip so on a maintain cooling would happen. Hope this helps someone with their fridge and trip.
