Bought this 3500 slightly used, only 5400 miles. Love it for my fifth wheel. Only thing I don't like, so far, is the build sheet and window sticker shows the "Connected services deleted". My phone connects to the truck but I cannot make phone calls hands free thru the truck.

Does anyone know if this can be "reconnected", maybe by the dealer? Thanks.

"connected services" has nothing to do with connecting your phone to the radio and making calls through it. It is the internal over the air stuff that is disabled, like remote start with the uconnect app, sos, wifi hotspot etc. This was an option often removed because of the chip shortage issues. Honestly very few people use it anyway.

You need to double check your connection and settings on your phone, it should work. The missing option has nothing to do with it.

True, the remote start and the app gives me no features for this truck. So is it possible for this to be reconnected?

I don't know for sure but if I had to guess I would say no? It is missing physical hardware somewhere in there and I don't know if you can retrofit it?

Which radio do you have in the truck? It could be an issue with AndroidAuto/CarPlay as that can handle the hands free calling and texting through a smart phone.

Ok got the phone working. Had to download my contacts and I disabled Android Auto. Don't use this anyway, use my Garmin. Also, since I am missing the connected services I can't initiate a call by voice with the button on the steering wheel. When I press the button it takes me to my contacts on the screen. But I can receive calls now thru the truck hands free. Thanks for the help guys.

Here's an update on this. I downloaded the Uconnect app again and at the bottom of the login page there is a link "Is this app for my vehicle". I tapped it and it states "Vehicles with connected services will have an ASSIST and SOS/911 button on or above the rear view mirror inside the vehicle". Mine does not have these. My 2020 Ram 2500 I traded in for the 3500 did have it.

After some research there seems to be quite a few 2022 Rams, all models, that did not receive this. It prevents you from using the Uconnect app, which allows you to remote start, lock doors, etc. I have to go back to my dealer first of next week for them to install my running boards, will talk to Service Manager to see IF this can be installed.
