So, is that good? I’m assuming so if it got the approval from most of those over at BITOG.

I’m still actually in search of a good oil filter to settle on. I don’t know if I want to just keep using the Wix XP or if I want to try something different. I have pretty much settled on using the mobile one extended performance for my engine oil depending on how the oil analysis report comes back for the Schaeffers 9000.
All the ones I have also say product of USA ... nice !!! muahaha !!!I checked a couple of mine, all are a product of the usa on the filter itself. Maybe the new ones wont be? You guys that eventually get new 20-820's let us know country of origin posted on filter. Maybe the raw materials are made in china or some of the materials are made in china and they can't get them?
Where did you get the 20-820? Doesn't look like Amazon is carrying them.I had the issue with puro and ticking, and yes it has been updated, but I don't prefer puro or wix. I only use RP 20-820 and already bought a lifetime supply. I wouldnt use blends cellulose stiffens and then as bad as wix is the wix would be better then stiffened cellulose. I would have no problem using RP cousin the Amsoil EA either, or Fram Ultra as a second option for me.
He, myself and others have stocked up on them from when they were available.Where did you get the 20-820? Doesn't look like Amazon is carrying them.
Has Fram changed the size of the XG2? Current specs on site arerp 20-820 3.81 x 3.81 x 4 inches
fram xg2 4.06 x 4.06 x 4.63 inches
so yes sir, that is some beefy filter right there, stock is rising.

Here's the specs off the Fram website. RP doesn't list any dimensional or psi specs. Looks like the RP 20-500 may be be the same size as the XG10575. I've been using the XG10575 on my 2019 since new. The XG10060 is the recommended filter for the 5.7 on the Fram site. Thanks for the info.
The XG10575 is listed as 16-28psi on fram.com, coincidentally the highest rated filter in burla's graph also.
If the xg2 is 12psi and 20-820 is 11-17psi, unless it's truly 16psi+, I'm still curious what makes the 20-820 > xg2.
XG10575 vs rp 20-820 is only $1 different so no big worry there.
Going to read more.

So that is the 20-500 clone? Still on amazon the 20-500 is only 11.99, so that is dirt cheap and is a good option. If I didnt have to many filters in stock, I think I'd be buying a case of those. If the RP 20-500 is a match for the Amsoil EA017 the specs are as follows, which should be a nice fit for the 5.7
Amsoil EA017 Height 4.45 Inside Diameter M22-1.5 Outside Diameter 2.96 Anti-Drainback Valve YES By-Pass Valve Setting 18-24 Base Gasket I.D. 2.39 Base Gasket O.D. 2.76
I’m sure the guys will correct me if I’m wrong but if memory serves me correctly, I think the reason why they don’t call for that oil filter is because of its size and the location of where it’s installed on the engine.Every place that I have checked says that the 20-500 does not fit the 2012 Ram 5.7 but don’t know why.
Threads should be the same so why are they saying it won’t fit?
