Uconnect issues

I just took my 2020 1500 to the dealership after I’ve had issues with the sound at startup and was told a software update would fix it. Now after the update my radio doesn’t work at all and they told me I need a new radio. How is this possible on a 2 year old truck. Looking at the threads on here it seems to be a known issue. Has anyone had any luck getting Chrysler to replace a radio after their warranty.

If they bricked my radio while doing an update that I paid them for you can bet I would not stop escalating until it was replaced. Be nice until it's time not to be nice. I had my radio replaced outside of warranty for the screen delaminating. I have a good relationship with my dealer and they got it covered for me.

While you may have found a few threads with similar symptoms this is certainly not a common issue.
