Hello everyone!

I am looking for some suggestions because I am sure I am not the first to experience this problem…

I recently had a truck accessory shop install a Fab Fours Black Steel Elite Bumper on my Ram Sport 1500. In the process, the fender liner did not fit well with the bumper. As a result, the there were less fasteners… approaching 45 MPH, the draft would push the fender liners into the tires. Long story short, the fender liners were trimmed. However, the trimmed fender liners now leave the fog light electrical wiring more direct exposure to mud and snow. See attached pictures.

I’m looking for constructive suggestions. Like… buy new fender liners and try this again? Any after-market kits to fix this?

Thank you!

I got the fab 4's as well, full wrap, similar from center out, I will see what the deal is tomorrow. What is that bracket from? TBH it seams like that is what is jaming it up. Is the purpose of the bracket to secure wires and that is it?

Thought about a skid plate?

Mind sharing a picture?

If we are looking at the same bracket, the bracket that drops vertically, it's part of the original truck. "The fender bracket is bolted to the truck bracket"

Actually, it's not jamming up there. The picture shows the modification to make it fit.

I cant at the moment access my flkr, I will try later in the week, I caught the covid bad last night, staying in bed bigtime with the chills and red fever face.

All I have on mine is that oem flex hose just like your but it doesnt have the middle doohiky or any bracing. Like you said it would be vulnerable if you where wheeling possibly. It is about 4 inches past the bottom of the bumper, maybe a couple inches exposed towards engine bay. I actually have the full wrap, so you can drill a hole in the pipe and have nothing showing. On my short list is to get PIAA, lights up better then bright lights but non offensive. Best after light lights I have tried. I think my light holes are smaller, thus it justifies the cost. If you have 4 inch as it appears, you have more options.

Unfortunately with aftermarket bumpers they don’t seal back to the fender liner. It sucks but it is part of the deal. Not much can be done but you can try new liners and trim them a bit better.

Yep, maybe starting over with new fender liners. Thank for the pics!

You are right. I just want to see what other people have done with their installs and I can go back with some constructive solutions.
Thanks
