ok guys, my 5.7 hemi in my 04 ram i do believe took a dump on me….cylinder 7 has nearly no compression along with other cylinders as well…aside from swapping motors what all am i ganna have to do to fix it..im ganna keep it stock so keep that in mind when yall are giving me details on what to do

Depends on whether it's the heads or in the short block. Busted valvesprings could cause this, but I doubt you broke multiple ones. I'd pull the heads, then you can check them and what's underneath.

it all started when i noticed after i took off from sitting from an extended period of time some smoke coming out the tail pipe…it did this for about 10 months then one day it developed a dead miss on #7 cylinder, then i did a compression test on all cylinders an noticed 3 of the 8 didnt make the numbers they needed to

Did you do the compression check for both rings and valves? Rings, all plugs out and check. Valves, all plugs out, squirt some oil in. If compression improves, rings are bad, no improvement, valves are bad.
