I have a rough country bed mat installed on top of my LineX. I can drive with rectangular 5 gallon water bottles without them sliding at all. I love it. Bags, anything I put on the mat typically will be in the exact place I placed it. So much so, that it is difficult to get things out of the bed of the truck.

DEE ZEE bed Matt. Had it on my 14 and now on my 18 so its prob 8 years old by now and works great. I have the BedRug Bed Tread which is a bedrug that looks like a liner and that has also worked really well. I hated the factory spray in liner... it was so slippery when wet or when I put anything in the bed it would slide around. Now I need to LIFT something and wiggle it out as everything sticks to the bed matt.

I own a 2021 RAM 1500 DT (6 lug nuts) Limited Longhorn with both the RamBox storage system AND the Multi-Function Tailgate (MFT). It's a Crew Cab with the short bed (5' 7").

Most, if not all, other brands’ rubber bed mats will NOT fit a RAM with both RamBox and MFT.

I am interested in finding out if the Mopar truck bed mat is a precision cut drop-in for a RAM 1500 with the configuration described above.

Please advise if anyone has purchased this Bed Mat and if it’s a precision fit.

Another vote for bedrug here. Check your local dealer,as when i bought both of my bedrugs, they were the cheapest, but that was quite a few years ago.
W O, is that thing sold in 2 options? one for bed floor only, and bed floor + all those rug pieces for up all the sides??

I use the bed rug mat on top of my lined box. Also have the tailgate mat. Great on knees, nothing slides around and super easy to clean. I either vacuum or just sweep it . I also have my tonneau cover closed 98% of the time so it never gets rained on or snow.F9C840E1-2B30-4FE6-B38C-CA9866E5C661.jpeg

Uh, not carpet.
It is called Closed Cell Foam, has both a function and purpose.

Carpet is what Rednecks use, to achieve a semblance of Sophistication,
if only to themselves, so I can understand the confusion.

Think of it as Wood Flooring, instead of bare Earth, Clay or Dirt,
which has been compacted, into functional Cement, by generations
of Inbreed feet walking upon it.

Just as with the concept of plank flooring, I fully expect the useage of closed cell foam,
in truck beds, to become common place, eventually.

Generational Stupidity tends to decrease, with each succeeding Generation.
For which we all can be thankful, every time we use Porcelain,
instead of walking, outside, to get a splinter, in our rectums.

But, Hey, you do you.
Imagine some folks even enjoy pulling out those splinters!
My old knees' appreciate the closed cell foam.

horse stall mats are inexpensive and very durable

I'll toss my ditto in for this suggestion. A 3/4" thick horse stall mat is cheap, and nearly indestructible.

Put it this way: The things are made to hold up to 1,000 lb animals stomping on it while wearing steel horseshoes, so it'll definitely hold up to anything you think you can do to it. Easy to clean, too - again, if it holds up to horse poop, it'll hold up to whatever you toss on it.

You can find them at your nearest farm store (e.g. Coastal, which is where I got mine: https://www.coastalcountry.com/prod...-x-6-ft-x-34-in-premium-stall-mat-rupi1152135 ). You may have to cut out wheel well notches in this one, and they do make them longer (up to 8' long). Cutting them is a bit tough, but with a sharp enough utility knife (with a fresh blade!) it's quite doable.

The full BedRug comes in several pieces. The bed floor including tailgate and side and back pieces that all zipper to the floor section. They have a thick foam rubber base. Only customization I had to do was cut slits with a razor blade so the tiedowns in the bed could be pushed through. Used a couple of velcro strips on the sides, but when all attached the sides are fairly ridged and stay in place.

Great product and worth the price.

ER, thank you!

Now you got me really interested in this Bedrug option. Not worried about weather getting on it, have had a soft tonneau cover on the '17 for quite a few years now and I really never remove it too often...

Over the decades, I've had darn near all of them.

Plastic tub insert. Some claim it rubs paint off, causes rust, Girl Children births, only, No Boys, all kinds of things.
had one for 10 years or better, took it out of one truck slapped into another and old truck bed look brand spanking new. That truck ever saw teh inside of a garage unless it was getting fixed.

Had spray in line x, done by poorly trained installer, peeled up like an dorange skin. would nuck and peel.

had DZ Bed mat, which is ismply terrific and the best ever rubber mat to be had.

usd horse stall mat, pretty much same as DZ bed mat , semi hard rubber, but stuff stays put.

have spring in liner, with bedrug over it, compelete bedrug, sides, back tailgate, all of it zipped up together.

I love the way ti looks. I i ever nee to get messy stuff, just yank it out but doubt I actually will. far more likely to just sweep and use the hose, closed cell foam so nohting can really get into it unlesss yo let transmission fluid sit for hours and hours.

just like teh DZ Bed mat, put anything on it, it does not move.
had a top heavy item, thought for sure it would tip over, even tried to do it through **** the Wife off type of driving, didn't work, other than the Wife got mad, of course.
Stupid thign stayed put. Really surprised me. I was trying to make it fall over and break. was Ugly and told the Wife not to get it.

Fishin', I think I'm gonna seriously look into that BedRug floor liner piece. The beds already come with full liners in them here at all the dealerships. But I've wanted something additional on the bed floor too. For years now I've had this halfass rubber rectangular pad that I found somewhere covering most of it. Thank you for the picture of your set-up! that looks really good! :happy160:

If you have that Drop in Bed Liner, make sure that it is fastened down some how.

I can't tell you how many bed Liners i had to remove from highways out here in California, i worked for the Highway Dept.

Dude, that bed rug looks pretty, but one load of firewood and that thing would have more splinters in it than a lumberjack's palms...

closed cell foam, so while it is quite possible soem wood splinters could get embedded, a quick vacuuming would get most, the ones missed, well, I don't sleep on it.

Though, to be honest, if going for something like that, which would cause, even more work, after the initial work is done, I would simply yank it out.
Only held in the bed with velcro and comes out PDQ and easily

agree with GT Yankee. Attach it to the bed with velcro. Currently, I am waiting for it to warm up some, here, so I can add even more velcor strips to it. Had it done when cold and while it is covered and have ran around with cover off it, hauling snow blowerrs and such, would like better adhesion.

The most common complaint about the BedRug, is that some Straw has to be plucked out by hand, after hauling bales of hay

Here are some pictures of BedRug in my truck. If it gets a bit dirty I just go to the car wash stall and use the high pressure wand since I don't own a power washer.
