I have a set of Amp 35" and they are really only a bit bigger than 33". I want a set of true 37" on next. what brand makes a true set of 37"?
From what I have read so far Nitto is the closest. BFG are not even close from what I've read.

It may help to know what size wheel you have. No tire size is ever true to size. I went with a 305/70r18 on my truck instead of a 35 because most 35s weighed a lot more and were only 34.2” height. My 305 was 34.7” height. Look on tiresize . com to see what the manufacturer spec measurements are

What a manufacturer lists and what it actually measures mounted and on a truck are going to be different.

Exactly and I'm looking for anyone who knows the true sizes of brands. I know Nitto is close to being true and wondering if anyone knows of any other brands that are close to true in size?

Thanks for the work but it's incorrect a KO2 is 100% smaller than the size they are posting there.
They list the manufactures height as 36.5” for the ko2. I think that’s generally mounted and fully inflated but not on a vehicle. My tire measured 34.7 off the truck fully inflated and on the truck is just over 34”.

That is 3" that's kinds a big deal when you are listing them as 37" and they aren't even at a true 35".

Helps if you go back and read. I stated I have a 305/70r18 which is around 34.8” ratio height but was listed at 34.7 manufactured height and measured 34.7 off the truck and 34” on the truck. I did not say I had a 37.

i listed pictures if manufactured sizes for tires. They will always be smaller than the expected ratio height or advertised height and as soon as you mount them to the truck they will be even shorter from the weight of the vehicle. No listed 37” tire will be 37” when under the weight of the vehicle.

Here. Only 37x13.5 listed to manufactured height of 37” probably measures 36” when on the truck though. You could go to a 38” if you really want a 37” tire

Whatever size you get, they will always be marketed as rounded up in size. Also keep in mind that even if you find a “37” true sized, that it will only be that size when with zero miles. Every mile thereafter will be wearing that number down.

Manufactures can not take into account the weight of the various sized vehicles that their tire will be mounted on. Measurements are mounted, but not installed typically.

No brand sells a tire right at their listed height. It just never seems to happen. Some are worse than others. And it seems everybody likes to measure the height when they are a bit under-inflated and have a 6000-8000 pound vehicle on them, and then they wonder why they are not even close. Tire height should be measured fully inflated with no weight on them. Bfg is notorious for being undersized, nitto/toyo are typically more true to size.

If you want a true 37” bfg, just get a 38” or 39”. Problem solved.

For example, here is a 37” ko2 that was posted by someone on a jeep forum. Under 36” unmounted, and under 35.5” when mounted under the weight of a jeep.

I was just using BFG as an example of a company that sells undersized and Nitto as a company that sell smore true. Just wondering if anyone has any other known facts or thoughts on the subject.

The only tire i know of that is actually larger than advertised…not just the brand, but this specific tire…is a 36”x13.5 bias irok. They are taller than the 37’s in the same tire.
