Fast Blinker Even After Changing Bulb

I’d been getting the “Left Rear Blinker” warning for a while. Checking out the lights, it was the high mount brake light that was actually fried. I replaced that bulb, but I’m still getting the Left Blinker Error. Is there something else I need to reset to clear that message?

Your post title is….. ‘fast blinker’ Is it a fast blink or is it just the error message?
A fast blinker one side has to be a bulb out or not working properly, I’d imagine.

A cheap scanner that can clear DTCs
(diagnostic trouble codes) should get rid of it.

Yes, the left has been fast blinking while the third brake light bulb was burned out. However, it’s still doing it even after replacing the bulb and driving for a bit.

I think you need to change out that left turn bulb…..or swop with the other side see what occurs. Could be front or rear.

My 2014 has shown left rear out and fast blink for almost a few years now because the left taillight has a few led bulbs out, but you can't really notice it. Every now and then it clears for a few minutes then goes back to fast blink.

Last I looked a new taillight was over $250 so I can live with it as is.

If your bulb replacement is with LEDs then you may need to used alfa obd to change the settings on the can bus. LED s draw less current, this produces a message of failed bulb.
