Rear ABS

Hey

Does anyone know if Ram rear ABS senors are located EITHER in the differential or by the wheel? I suppose if you dont have wiring to the wheel the sensor is in the differential?

The truck will have either the differential or the wheel speed sensors for the ABS but not both.

If it has traction control, they are mounted on the brake caliper. If it does not have traction control, it'll be mounted on the differential, on top.

Depending on 3rd of 4th gen. The pickup may have 2 wheel (on rear axle housing) 3 wheel (axle housing/ left front wheel bearing) or 4 wheel (axle housing, left/right front wheel bearings)

Thats crazy that they are like that. Mine has some type of wiring connection with a plug on top of the rear differential but my front wheels do not have any type of sensors or wiring connections. 04 4x4 quad cab.
