What year is the truck, the earlier trucks prior to 2016 don't have the oil coolerThanks for the intel
My engine is due to land at the dealer next friday. Cant wait to get this thing on the road. I have had it since June.
Jasper reccomends changing the oil cooler to keep the warranty. Is that the 70 to 80 dollar part I am seeing at rock auto?
Any way I will keep you all posted as I am sure I will need further help in the near future.
Thanks agian

You don't have the oil cooler then,so you're good to go.Mine is a 2013
The Jasper paperwork mentioned that replacing the cooler was suggested I dont know if that was just some general info covering applicable model years but I wanted to have what I needed ready to go when the motor is delivered.
The jasper installation kit should have everything you need. Give it a mention to your installer. Should come with the motor. https://www.jasperengines.com/installation-kitThanks for the info.
One less part I need to buy.
But I am sure there will be plenty of others
