I bought a used 5th gen after someone hit me and totaled my CPO 4th gen. Is there a credit or refund on the unused mileage/portion of the warranty that was on the 4th gen? It's a Mopar warranty - certified preowned.

If it is a Mopar service agreement then you should be able to see the contract on the Mopar site using your VIN or ask your local dealer to look it up for you.I have a policy number. Was never able to get a copy of the policy but did make a claim with it recently for the manifold bolts. Recently got a letter from Mopar saying I used it and to call about getting factory backed coverage on other vehicles, so it is/was definitely a Mopar CPO
Yes, it showed coverage but the plan details have never been accessible despite multiple attempts (emails, calls, request button). I was able to use it though. If it is a Mopar service agreement then you should be able to see the contract on the Mopar site using your VIN or ask your local dealer to look it up for you.
I can do that. The replacement truck is at the dealer now. This is/was a Mopar CPO warranty (7year/100k powertrain) so not aftermarket per saeGet a hold of the dealership who sold you that vehicle. Give them the policy number and see what they can do for you. I've owned several vehicles which had aftermarket warranties, and received refunds on any unused mileage or time when I got rid of each vehicle.
I'd guess it would depend on if you paid for an extended coverage. The CPO warranty (my 18 2500 is a CPO) is not something you pay directly for, like a Mopar extended warranty. It is just included with a CPO truck. And it is not nearly as extensive as a Mopar extended warranty. Even though I had the CPO warranty, I still got a Mopar extended warranty on my truck, although well after the sale, from an online source. It was much cheaper on a CPO truck than a non-CPO one. The CPO warranty only extends the bumper-to-bumper warranty a tiny amount and gives you basic drive train protection. What would determine if it is refundable or not? Are some Mopar CPO policies not?
That's a good point. I was going on the assumption the OP paid separately for this warranty.I'd guess it would depend on if you paid for an extended coverage. So when my new truck comes in later this year, I will get a refund. But only on the Mopar extended warranty that I bought, not the CPO warranty.
Are you able to download your plan provision using that link?Sign in to www.mopar.com. Use desktop view. My cpo information shows up there.
As stated above. I do not think the included cpo can be refunded.
