Even with new bearings in place there is a little play. I have never seen bearings like this before, they are very loose and not solid and firm as I am used to. Looks like a different design, but when in place they do their job, but as I said, a little play up and down seems to be inevitable.Replace the bearings. There shouldn't be any play that you can feel or especially see with the naked eye.
The hub is attached to the axle shaft so it's replaced all together.I have this Identical problem do you replace the rear hubs as well?
