I don't see why the dealership would get pissy
After all, if & when it comes in, it will be sold within 10 days & for more money than what you would have paid.

Beside, you are moving from that area, so you won't have to see it every time that you go to Home Depot
They said FCA would give them a strike against their allocation. I'm calling ******** on that. FCA can't deliver trucks to their selling dealers on time and they are going to turn around and penalize them?

I found a Backcountry that is still in transit to the dealer. They're telling me it's at the final stop waiting for a truck to deliver it to them and that's it's only about 2 hours away from the dealership. I have the window sticker with VIN number... is there any way for me to also track it? My concern is the price I was quoted has incentives that end on Sept. 6th and the dealer is telling me they may get the truck anytime between now and Sept. 15th.

Well, it looks like they finally built it. Now we will see when the dealer actually gets it.

Same, mine finished the build stage last week. I'm figuring 3 months before it gets to the dealer.

There's several of out here waiting on 3500's to ship. I think we're gonna see shipment in a couple of weeks max. I base this off a baseless assumption that I "feeeeeeelllllllllll" it will happen. Don't harsh me.

Haters will say I can't tell the future.

I think you are correct based solely on the fact that I gave up and bought a low-mileage 2019 Bighorn lol.

My guess 4-6 weeks for transit time then who knows how long the rail yard will take to unload it...
My truck has been in built status since June 14th. You might be in for a long wait! to make matters worse they are saying that rail employees could be going on strike any day now.

@68PowerWagon I have totally given up now on the 2022. I am really liking the 2019 Bighorn I bought. I did have thoughts of trading the 2019 on my ordered truck when it came in but I think I will be back from Arizona next April before the truck gets here. With only 17,000 miles on the 2019, it might be the last truck I ever buy.

@68PowerWagon Mine was built 30 days after yours. You ordered months before I did. I know of two that ordered their 3500s, and they are waiting on them - different dealers and counties.

@P B Casterlin Thanks for the extra "juju," brother. Those of us in the know, know that's how it works. Only haters will say we don't know.

Glad you found that truck for now or forever. I was saddened to hear about your plans with family pending on your ordered truck's arrival.

shipping could mean that the assembly line is done with it & it was signed off to go to the BODY Vendor , for things like bed liner

after the body vendor, the truck goes back to get the final sign off & smog check.

Then it is loaded on a semi truck or freight car

@68PowerWagon . Mine came on about 2 weeks ago. I had already bought the 2019 so I got my deposit back. I don't think the truck was there a week before it sold.
It made it from the railhead in Philadelphia to my location in just over a week.

I think shipped means shipped. My truck took about 4 weeks to go from shipped status to delivered. Given that it had to go from Mexico by rail to KC, and then get picked up and delivered to the dealer in Des Moines, IA, it doesn't seem likely it also made it to a body vendor in between.

My truck took exactly 3 weeks from when it showed shipped to be delivered to the dealership. I posted this somewhere else yesterday, but wanted to update here, for others. @P B Casterlin sated this to me as his experience - above this post - and mine was the same.

It took 6 months and a few days from special order to delivery at the dealership. They quoted 4 or more. My truck was assembled and finished at the end of July. I assume because of options - my truck took longer to get ready. Which options? Bed options: bed package and 5th wheel prep. I did order every single option that was offered besides DRW. Once again, I'm making an assumption.
