Have a 2016 dodge 3500 crew gas...cant find a transmission anywhere for it. Out of stock with no date of when it will be in. I should have learned with the 2000 durango. Then my 2007 dually dump 3500 they discontinued the fuel pump on when I needed it some time ago had it not been for ebay I never would have been able to find one. Its because of the type of gas tank on it. Owned a lot of dodges getting pretty damn sick of it, not having the parts EVER

Did you mean to post this in the 3rd Gen forum?

Sorry to hear about your bad luck. I'm surprised to hear about the dually tranny. I assume these are RFE transmissions?? You might consider taking the tranny to a 'good' transmission shop and have it rebuilt. They can install different ...more robust parts and 'updates' (fixes) to combat the known weaknesses. They have the technology. They can make it better than it was. Better, stronger, faster..

I hear you but I'm more sick of needing more parts rather than just not being able to get them. If these damn things weren't always breaking down we wouldn't need the parts in the first place. Transmissions seem to be a particular weak point.

I haven't read a lot of posts on this forum over the yrs about rampant tranny failures. It happens from time to time, but doesn't seem that often. Maybe you just got the bad luck of the draw...??

I have one of the very first 6.4 Hemi trucks - took delivery March of 2014 and have been here ever since. I agree tranny failures/problems overall haven't been a huge issue but there are starting to be some valve body problems as these truck age. And I feel I should mention that I've had two tranny failures and rebuilds on my 66RFE (38K and 90K, currently at 120K) but readily admit that's out of the ordinary.

LOL, stir the pot, yup, the new way to do things, well maybe not that new, hee hee. Kinda like a 1 hit wonder, hee hee. Some of them 1 hit wonder bands did sound good tho.

MAYBE I should post a grievance? lemme see? AC lousy on 5th Gen DT Trucks, ahhhh, ok. I am awaiting a new 850 Watt E Fan ordered 1 Feb 2022? I figure see it in 2025, lol. OK, not much more complaining, still here, breathing, got electric, running water, heat and AC in house. Wat I got to complain about (sic) ???

My INANE sense of humor.

If things didn't break a lot of people would have no jobs. Vicious cycle.

2017 RAM 2500 6.4. 49,120 miles at the dealer for transmission #2. New transmissions are on back order. I was told it would be MONTHS for a new transmission. A rebuild kit will take 3-5 days. Hoping the torque converter isn't shot. I have a friend 2017 3500 6.4 his truck has been in the shop for 6 weeks waiting for a new transmission. It still hasn't arrived at the dealership.
