Have 2022 on it's way should be here by the end of Sept, pretty excited. Night edition with a Cummins. One question I have is the rear seat. I was looking at the Ramtrucks.com website and it shows the rear seat back folding flat. Is that for all 2500 Rams? it doesn't call out any trim level and I looked at a limited and Laramie window sticker to see if called out. I'm sure I could just go to a dealer and check it out, but nearly as fun as getting the information from the forum! I have a Laramie coming so just wanted to know. if that is the case my dogs will be very happy!

Rear seat fold UP out of the way, against the seat back. Dont know if the trim package you ordered comes with the fold out flat floor when the seat is up.

I guess that is the thing, on the Ramtrucks.com they show it but doesn't state any trim package or level of truck

I seem to recall the mega cab seats fold down…memory is weak ha. If you have the regular extended cab, they fold up, and then you have access to the floor levelers.

Enjoy the truck when it arrives. The waiting game for me was a hard one but I survived and when I got the call it arrived at the dealer early, I was at work and promptly let out a loud Homer Simpson whoooo hooooo! The order tracker was accurate ‘ish’. Give them credit for trying and Dealer Connect with status codes is the way to know exactly where you are at. Here was my timetable: Order Feb 26 (VON assigned) > VIN FEB 27 > D1 April 21 > Build Complete May 4 > arrived dealer June 16. Drove home June 18 Since I had to fly to get her ha.

Enjoy. The Cummins is an amazing workhorse. Do watch your tire pressures. My dealer aired them up to 80…way too much air and was like bricks.

I think that only the 4th Gen Rams have the FOLD FLAT FLOOR

All HEAVY DUTY RAMs are 4th Gens & they are built in Saltillo Mexico
All of the Ram 1500s built in Warren Michigan are also 4th Gen

All of the Ram 1500s built in Sterling Heights Michigan are 5th Gens

Had a 4th gen HD, and now a 5th gen HD and the rear seats fold and work the same. Both have it where the seats fold up against the back of the cab, and there is a floor that can be folded out to make the rear floor surface flat.

Yup 65 front, 80 rear, for 10 ply Load Range E tires.

Corporate policy is to keep them full to avoid lawsuits from dumb$hits that don't air when adding full load.

I argued with dealer about it. They won't budge. Corporate lawyer edict.

so if my information is right it seems that with the mega cab the rear seat backs fold flat, seems way better for pets, more room. So if that is the case does a mega cab rear seat fit in a crew?

I always follow the owner's manual of 65. Lately, it’s been effing hot here in CA So…someone on another post also said to pay attention to the cold temps before filling. In warmer climates, your morning temp is warmer than in Alaska so you will need to check your cold tire pressure as it also changes in seasons. That's also why you should check them once a month, in the AM.

Others will argue weight on the rear tires when pulling. Do your research and make your decision. I do think there is some logic to that but not 90 PSI. Remember tires warm up when used, friction heats up the air inside and that's how blowouts happen.

No, completely different floor and mounting on the mega cab.

Aaah lucky you! I ordered mine 1/31, it was built 6/14 & I am still waiting for it to ship! I usually keep mine around 55 in front & around 65 in the rear. I have pulled a 13,500 pound 5th wheeler around with no problem. Tires don't even bulge at all with them at the lower setting while loaded, & I don't get uneven wear. Makes a night & day difference in the ride for sure.

I actually think the way the seats fold up are better for dogs. Makes getting in & out easier for them since it is lower.
Yeah, depends on the dog. We have 5 dogs, 4 are young and have no problem jumping into the Megacab. The 5th is an older German Shepherd and we have to help her. But we have to help her into our Prius Wagon too. Poor old girl. No question it is higher. But it's also a MUCH bigger space.
