When I rebuilt it, it was bored 30 over, stock 10.5:1 pistons, a racer brown cam a little lumpier than stock. I have a Schneider 468 cam that may end up in itissues.I love it ,and i like the old school 5 spoke Cragars, they're still one of the best looking rims ever sold. They beat the s**** out of all the ugly black rims that seem to be the rage these days, lol. Any upgrades to the little 273 when you rebuilt it. I agree it'd be a fun little car with the hi-po 273 and 4 speed,it be a little tire roaster, lol. Thanks for posting the pic's Metalchewy, some of us old guys still have a soft spot for a classic like it
She still keeps me on my toes.Sweet ride! I’d almost forgotten about the 273, good little engine. Superwoman ain’t too bad either
Love those early 60s fury's as well.Had a 273 in my very first car, a 64 Sport Fury. Black w/red & chrome interior, auto in floor console.
Paid $10 for the car.
The Dart would be a great summer cruiser with the top down Should be fairly cheap on fuel, and would garner a pile of attentionStarted driving in a 73 Coronet. Had a 78 Fury for awhile after that. Then a 77 Ramcharger. In 2003, I ran a 68 GTX convertible for a few years. The dart was my go to car a couple of years ago.
