AlphaOBD help with LED lighting Alpharex luxx

Hey everyone,

Apologies if this has been covered. Im hoping for some guidance as im new to the truck world.

New alpharex luxx series headlights, morimoto fogs, morimoto tails, and everything i can get to LED, is.

I purchased the obdlink mx+ and the security bypass cable. Need to download the app.

I get the parking light out message each time i turn left. Can anyone share what changes i need to make to get the truck working with all the new lighting? If anyone has the alpharex lights can you share setting and changes you have made?

Set the drl to optional. Then set drl location to turn signals. Make note of what the default settings were before any changes to those settings. Make the changes and allow the vehicle to "sleep" for several hours, as it could take that long for the settings to take. It could also take just as long for you to revert back to the OEM settings should you choose to do so. There's no guarantee it'll work, but it's worth a shot. Like I said, it could take 3+ hours for the setting to take in the BCM, I have no idea why, but that's how long it took in my truck. So, make the adjustments before going to bed at night and let the truck sit overnight.

I have 2013 w/factory projector. I just installed the same lights. I didn’t use the DRL fuse tap method and my DRLs aren’t working. I changed everything I was supposed to with AlfaObd except for the “CustStrtMenu 1” as I don’t see this action. Did you use the fuse tap method?

Alfa OBD, change to LED on.
